'The Rain' Season 3 has fans fuming as they hate the finale, feel that the show deserved a better ending
Until the second season, 'The Rain' used to be a fan favorite. The show's finale had followers excited and the fact that this is the last season for the show also made fans pin their hopes on a stunning finale. However, all hopes were dashed on August 6 when the last six episodes of the show released because almost everything about the show including the lead characters' arc was problematic. So fans have taken to Twitter to express how a brilliant show like 'The Rain' deserved a better ending than this.
It is true that the writing was extremely terrible especially in comparison with the show's excellent past seasons. The fact that this season also portrayed Rasmus and Simone the way it did only makes it worse. A few moments were good, but that doesn't negate the fact that the season was terrible indeed. On this note, a fan shared, "#TheRainSeason3 ruined a good series with a bad finale." Another fan wrote, "In conclusion, this season is pointless. Thank you. Bye." In the same thread, this fan also shared, "The first thing that you should have done was to fix that tracker!!!! This is a bad writing indeed."

Another fan who just discovered the show today wrote, "I'm giving The Rain a go on Netflix. So far the children's inability to do as they are blooming told has caused the death of a parent. As a parent, I am offended #therain #netflix." This fan also added, "Also they are so whiny I am not sure I care if they live or die. Has anyone watched this, does it get better or should I abandon it now."

Another fan compared the show to the current situation and said, "I hope we could also end the COVID with just one flower just like in #TheRain haha what a bittersweet ending." While many have pointed out that the show deserved a better ending, fans are also appreciating some of the characters.
For instance, many showed love for Daniel, who cleanly put Simone in place for being so self-centered when she had assumed that he helped her and stood up against his family only because he was romantically interested in her. Then a lot of fans have also tweeted appreciated for Kira who called out Jean for victimizing himself when thousands were dead and suffering.
