'The Masked Singer': Fans wish to see Johnny Weir back as 'The Egg' despite his elimination
The audience fell in love with the goofy man behind the egg mask but before they knew it, they had bid goodbye to him. After losing the smackdown segment in 'The Masked Singer', the viewers were finally allowed to see who was the man behind the mask. The unmasking revealed that the energetic personality behind the mask was American figure skater, Johnny Weir. Ever since Weir made his first appearance as the man in the egg mask people fell in love with his personality.
Not only did Weir win people's hearts by showcasing his breathtaking singing skills, but he also managed to charm them with his funny words. Taking to Instagram, Weir thanked his fans for accepting his funny bones.

Fans were quick to comment about how incredible Weir was on the show.
"I loved you on the show! A great laugh," one fan noted. Another echoed similar thoughts by adding, "I knew it was you when you walked out!!! You were fabulous!!!". Many thought that Weir should have been given another chance and that the show lost a gem. "Verified I knew it!!! Well done. You were robbed," one comment read.
