'The Masked Singer': The Crab unmasked as Bobby Brown, here are all the clues you may have missed

After elimination, Bobby Brown revealed he decided to be a part of the show to prove to his youngest kids that he's still 'kicking'

Bobby Brown was revealed as the Crab on 'The Masked Singer' Top 8 episode on Wednesday, April 21. The singer-songwriter was eliminated at the end of the Top 8 episode alongside Tamera Mowry-Housley who was disguised as the Seashell. 

Brown spoke about the heartbreak he endured after the passing of his daughter Bobbi Kristina and son Bobby Brown Jr due to drug overdose after he was eliminated. He also revealed that he was doing the show to prove to his younger kids that he still had it.

All clues you missed about Bobby Brown being crab

"As everybody knows, I lost my two children. I lost my daughter Bobbi Kristina, and I lost my son just recently, Bobby Jr. And, um, they were a part of everything that I do this for. I do this for my kids," Bobby said. "I just felt it was essential that I come out here and do it for my little ones, to let them see that their dad is still kicking."

After his elimination, a couple of hints from his clue package videos were unpacked. The BBQ ribs seen in one of the videos was a nod to Bobby's Everyday Blend Seasoning from his own brand named Bobby Brown Foods. The boxing gloves were a nod to his backup career which is boxing however, he couldn't make big moves in the sport as his mother wanted him to give it up and focus on being a part of R&B group 'New Edition'. The Marshmellow clue in the recent episode was him referring to the song 'On Our Own' he did for the 1989 hit 'Ghostbusters II'

'We need him to do a Verzuz stat'

"Who would have ever thought I’d be crying watching Bobby Brown dressed as a crab on @MaskedSingerFOX," wrote a fan on Twitter. "Just wanna give a shout out to Bobby Brown...I love you, mane," read another tweet. "Bobby Brown on the Masked Singer tonight had me in tears! We need him to do a Verzuz stat!!!" read another tweet. "Well I almost made it until Bobby Brown took off his mask on @MaskedSingerFOX and spoke about losing his kids. I've always had a soft spot for him and my heart hurts for him and I'm proud of how far he's come," read another tweet.
