With just a couple of weeks before 'The Mandalorian' Season 2 makes its way to Disney+, fans had a reason to celebrate as they saw Disney drop a new special look during Monday Night Football. There was a bit of Baby Yoda, along with the return of old characters and a glimpse of new ones. That said, Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano was still missing and that left fans disappointed.

The previous season saw Mando (Pedro Pascal) and the Child have a close shave with the Imperial agent, Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). They were aided by Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) along with the bounty droid, IG-11. While Gideon beat a hasty retreat, the threat was far from over, and with the Darksaber in his control, there's a lot to look forward to in the upcoming installment.

You can have a peek at the special look here.

The clip was received positively on social media, but ardent 'Star Wars' fans expressed their disappointment. "Where is Ahsoka?!?" was the most common tweet.

Some felt she would make her entrance in the final episodes of the season. "Watch them wait til the last 2 episodes to bring Ahsoka into the mix," read one of the tweets.

While the lack of a new character showcase was a bummer for most fans, some felt the show would be worth the wait. "Tbh I know a lot of people are saying there really wasn’t any new footage added, but I’m totally cool with that because we will be intrigued to see what Ashoka and other characters look like. They didn’t show too much are too little. Just right in my opinion," read one of the comments.

This was seconded by another fan. "Exactly! Baby Yoda wasn’t revealed or rumoured until the first episode of the show. They’re not going to reveal Ahsoka in a trailer. As they shouldn’t."

"They definitely want to keep her a secret until the Filoni episode," read a tweet.

Dawson is confirmed to play the role in Season 2 and will mark the character's first appearance in live-action. According to a Slashfilm report, 'I Am Number Four' star Timothy Olyphant will wear Boba Fett's armor in the second season but he will actually be playing a Star Wars character, Cobb Vanth.

The new season of 'The Mandalorian' premieres on October 30 on Disney+.
