In the end, it was tearful and a bittersweet ending as Grogu finally found a new home with Luke Skywalker and R2D2 showing up to save the green little bundle of cuteness. The Darktroopers didn't stand a chance against Luke as she smashed, cut, and choked them to shut down. It is now clear that Luke was the Jedi who connected with Grogu in Tython and came in search of him. The return of Luke Skywalker was a major fan service and even as 'The Mandalorian' will see a new season without Baby Yoda, there's a lot to look forward to.
