'The Mandalorian' Season 2 Chapter 12: Will Ahsoka Tano make her much-awaited appearance in the next episode?

Odds are they might not immediately show the fan-favorite character. While the next journey on Mando's list is Calvodan, there might be a couple more filler episodes before they reach their destination

'The Mandalorian' Season 2 dished out one of the most intriguing episodes last week revealing the presence of Ahsoka Tano on the show. Titled 'The Heiress', the episode saw Mando/Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) cross paths with Bo Katan (Katee Sackhoff) and help her in the battle against the Empire by taking over a weapons aircraft. In return, Katan gave the bounty-hunter the much-needed information that would lead him to The Child/Baby Yoda's origins.

She helps him with directions to head to the city of Calvodan on the forest planet of Corvus and find Ahsoka Tano. With this, it is perfectly clear that Rosario Dawson's Tano will feature in 'The Mandalorian's ongoing season. However, odds are they might not immediately show the fan-favorite character. While the next journey on Mando's list is Calvodan, it might look at introducing a couple more filler episodes before they reach their destination.

Disney+ has managed to keep the lid intact when it comes to Tano's introduction. Although Dawson did confirm to Variety earlier this year about her role in the series, there is no mention of her or the character in the show's cast and crew list on IMDb. Perhaps. the details would be made available once she arrives on the show. On the flip side, if the next episode of 'The Mandalorian' does indeed introduce Tano, then the hope would be to at least see her in a couple of chapters rather than a single episode appearance.

Tano has a rich history in the 'Star Wars' universe as a former padawan central in creating a network of various rebel cells against the Galactic Empire after the Clone Wars. Tano, a Togruta female was brought to the Jedi Temple by Plo Koon and assigned by Jedi master Yoda to be the Padawan learner of their skilled knight, Anakin Skywalker. For now, there are theories floating around that she would be part of just one episode, and most fans have speculated it would be the finale.

Coming back to the possibility of Tano not featuring in the next chapter, there is a definite possibility of Gina Carano's Cara Dune and Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) will show up. They have been shown in the trailer and while we are unaware of how Mando links up with his friends again, but like the last season, they are all set to form a solid team again.

What are your thoughts on Ahsoka Tano appearing in the next chapter? 'The Mandalorian' Season 2 is available for streaming on Disney+ with new episodes dropping every Friday.
