The actress had had the talent in her blood owing to being the daughter of actors  Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. But just because she had famous parents doesn't mean she was a shoo-in success. Dakota put in the work and took acting classes later booking some supporting roles in movies. The hits 'The Social Network', '21 Jump Street', ' For Ellen', 'Need for Speed' saw her in small roles which earned her some recognition.
