'Fleabag' fans were delighted as Phoebe Waller-Bridge won twice for the night. And now, Olivia Colman has won Best Television Performance By Actress in Drama Series for 'The Crown'.
She was up against Jennifer Aniston in 'The Morning Show' as well as Nicole Kidman in 'Big Little Lies'. The other nomination in the category was Jodie Comer in 'Killing Eve'.
Colman portrays Queen Elizabeth II in Netflix drama series 'The Crown'. The show is a historical drama series about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, and has been created and directed by Peter Morgan. It is produced by Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television. It has received glowing reviews for its writing, direction and cinematography and received 26 nominations at the Emmy Awards 2019.
Meanwhile, at the Golden Globes Awards 2020, Russell Crowe won for 'The Loudest Voice', Stellan Skarsgard won for 'Chernobyl', Laura Dern bagged the Best Supporting Actress for 'Marriage Story', and Quentin Tarantino won Best Screenplay for 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood'.
