'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' premiered to a strong start with two episodes. The bad news, the subsequent weeks will air only one episode up to October 14. but the good news is the streaming giant revealing details of the time of release so fans can plan their schedules.

The official synopsis reads, "This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory, and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness."

What time will 'The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power' be out on Amazon Prime Video?

The first two episodes of 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' was released on September 1, 2022, at 6 pm PT and 9 pm ET respectively. Week two's schedule sees the episode set to release at 9 pm PT on Thursdays and at 12 am ET on Fridays. Season 1 of the fantasy series will feature eight episodes in total, and the finale is scheduled to air on October 14. In short, new episodes will drop at midnight ET on Fridays.

The series stars Morfydd Clark, Benjamin Walker, Charles Edwards, Charlie Vickers, Markella Kavenagh, Nazanin Boniadi, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Tyroe Muhafidin, Maxim Baldry, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Owain Arthur, Trystan Gravelle, Sir Lenny Henry, Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Sophia Nomvete, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Leon Wadham, Daniel Weyman, and Sara Zwangobani.
