'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' Episode 5 Preview: Amazon show teases war between heroes and Adar
‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ has been a slow-burn so far, but it has managed to keep viewers intrigued because of epic storytelling and world-building. However, it seems things are heating up in Middle Earth as every major character is now getting ready for the battle. In Episode 4, we saw Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) telling Miriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), the Queen Regent of Numenor, to get ready for the war against the armies of Sauron. However, Miriel didn’t want to be a part of the war because she feels her kingdom will be doomed if they go into the war.
She decides to let Galadriel go and tells his men to take her to her kingdom. However, as soon as she left, the leaves from Nimloth, the White Tree of Numenor, started to fall and that made Miriel realize that if they don’t be a part of the war, then their kingdom will certainly be doomed. So, she calls her back and instructs her men to get ready for the war. They are currently gathering people who can fight in the war for extra advantage and the preparations for the war have begun from all sides.
As the episode ended, we got to see a preview of what’s going to happen in the next episode and it looks like Adar is ready to unleash the legions.

In the promo released for the upcoming episode titled ‘Partings’, we see Galadriel getting ready for the battle as she takes the swords in her hands and practices her moves. However, Halbrandt is not at all happy with the decision to go to the war for The Southlands because he doesn’t want to go back there and he swore never to return.
On the other hand, Bronwyn is trying to make her people understand that they need to get together and fight evil because that’s the only way they can survive the inevitable.
They are not the only ones preparing for the war and Adar seems to be more than ready for the battle. He has already commanded the army of Orcs to “summon the legions” and given them the orders to get ready for the highly anticipated battle.
It seems the next episode will be all about the preparations for the war and how the evil keeps on making itself stronger by getting together. Also, it will be interesting to see whether the Dark Lord Sauron will be mentioned in the episode or not.
The show is setting up an epic clash between our heroes and the forces of darkness.
