'The Last Dance': Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra's romance wows fans as they call him 'honeybadger of the NBA'
The third episode of 'The Last Dance' was all about Dennis Rodman, and fans who waited all week to catch up with Episodes 3 and 4 of the series were not disappointed as it gave a great account of Rodman's time with the Detroit Pistons, the Chicago Bulls, and his relationship with Michael Jordan. One of the most startling scenes was Carmen Electra stating to the camera that dating Rodman was an "occupational hazard."
Fans on Twitter, however, had their reactions to Rodman and Electra to an extent. "Dennis Rodman was the Honey Badger of the NBA #TheLastDance," said a fan after catching up the third episode. "If I saw it correctly, Dennis Rodman showed up to practice in his pajamas after a Vegas binge with Carmen Electra... and had a great conditioning practice," wrote another fan.
"These last 2 episodes of #TheLastDance with Dennis Rodman and Phil Jackson are so damn entertaining," seconded a fan.
"Dennis Rodman is an international hero and anyone who thinks otherwise is hereby canceled," tweeted one of the fans. This one's as amusing as it can get: "Celebrities had to work for it in 1998. 1998: Dennis Rodman is in the NBA, pro wrestling, and dating hot singers like Carmen Electra. 2020: Pete Davidson dates Ariana Grande." And so is this—"It's easy to make a snide comment about Dennis Rodman, but then again, he's had sex with Carmen Electra and I haven't, so he wins at life."
"The most shocking thing is the fact that people didn’t know Dennis Rodman before this show came on Netflix. That’s why I don’t argue basketball with people who started watching games yesterday," a fan opined.
The 48-hour vacation too was talked about. "Dennis Rodman really took a 48 hours vacation to Las Vegas" wrote a fan who couldn't believe what he saw. Here's a fan who wanted a 10-hour documentary of Rodman. "Dating Carmen Electra, playing for the Bulls and being in the NWO, it doesn't get more 1990s than that, Dennis Rodman is the true Where's his 10-hour documentary? #LastDance."
And finally some focus on his game abilities with a tweet that read: "The plays that Dennis Rodman did that made his team great — rebound and play defense." This sums up what the world thinks of Dennis Rodman after that episode: "Dennis Rodman is a fuckin CHARACTER holy SHIT MAN! The #LastDance is AWESOME.. this shit is WILD"
