'The L Word Generation Q' Episode 6: Angie and Jordie's young love has us squealing

This story contains spoilers for 'The L Word: Generation Q' Episode 6 'Loose Ends'
Ever since we saw Angie Porter (Jordan Hull) and Jordi Sanbolino (Sophie Giannamore) stealing coy glances, acting all cute with each other, we knew we are going to be shipping them hard. After their play especially, we got some really strong vibes about something cooking between them as they stole glances at each other. Add to that the fact that not only us but even Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig) could see the sparks between them definitely means something.
In this episode, as Angie, Shane and Quiara Thompson (Lex Scott Davis) return from Angie's driver's license test, they take a detour to Jordi's house. In the car, Angie asks her uncle, Shane, how one knows if and when they love someone. It is a heartwarming conversation as Quiara and Shane walk down memory lane to the time when they figured out exactly when they knew they loved each other.
At that time, Quiara points out that the only way that Angie is going to know about Jordi's feelings is when she confesses about her feelings. And so Angie ends up at Jordi's doorstep to tell her about how she feels about her.
Their young love is reminiscent of a time when love wasn't ailed by complications of adult life and well, in the case of 'The L Word', of the adultery life. And when Jordi says she likes Angie too, they share their first kiss and it had Shane and Quiara - and us! - cheering from the car!
Fans have been raving about the young love on social media. "The cutest couple. I'm still a little "..." to the fact that they made Angie LGBTQ+ because this can make people say "the kids are gay because the parents are gay" and I don't like that," noted a fan. "Awwwwww the l word really gave the lesbians Angie & Jordy," said another fan.
And the young couple, with their news fans and shippers, also have a dedicated hashtag! "love Angie and Jordie... im gonna go with the consensus here and say Jorgie. cute!" said a fan. "JorGie and I love this storyline - totally unexpected," noted another.
'The L Word: Generation Q' airs on Sundays at 10/ 9c on Showtime.
