This is the second part of an interview with Jordan Hull of 'The L Word: Generation Q'. You can read the first part of the interview, where she discusses her character Angie Porter's relationship with Jennifer Beals' Bette Porter here.
It was at the premiere of 'The L Word: Generation Q' that actress Jordan Hull realized just how popular 'The L Word' was and more importantly, the impact it had on women worldwide.
"At the end of the premiere, I was hearing a lot of people talk about how the original show helped them come out, or how it helped them heal through wounds that they could never fully get over," Hull tells MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) in an exclusive interview. And that's when she realized how important 'The L Word: Generation Q' would prove to be to an entire generation of queers.
The show also helped Hull on a personal level. It helped her "deal with a lot of pent up shame with just who you are, a human".
One of the best things being a fresher on the sets of 'The L Word: Generation Q' was the fact that Hull had the opportunity to work alongside actresses who had made their mark in television a long time ago with the original series 'The L Word'. Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey are all naturals in their roles of Bette Porter, Shane McCutcheon and Alice Pieszecki.

"All three of them are just so good at what they do. It's like working with NBA superstar," Hull told MEAWW. "Just being in their presence and working will elevate you no matter what because all three of them have their own distinctive qualities on how they work and what works for them and what doesn't. I got such a stark variety and that was amazing."
Hull asked several acting pointers to Beal so much so that there came a point when she felt she was being annoying. "After a scene (with Jennifer), I would ask her so many things about acting. She was so patient and so helpful with that."
