Spoiler alert for 'The Good Place' Episode 12 'Patty'

Team Cockroach has finally got themselves into the actual Good Place. No tricks, no hoaxes, but at least one minor twist — the Good Place isn't all it's chalked up to be. Paradise has some flaws, and eternal perfection has even dulled the mind of one of history's greatest minds, Hypatia of Alexandria. Chidi Anagonye (William Jackson Harper) is over the moon at the thought of meeting one of his childhood philosopher heroes, and that sentiment was shared by the fans as Hypatia turns around to reveal none other than Lisa Kudrow!

It turns out the episode's titular 'Patty' is played by the former 'Friends' star, and it was a joy for fans to see on screen. "You can tell it’s really #TheGoodPlace because Lisa Kudrow is there," tweeted a fan online. "OK so Lisa Kudrow is Hypatia (Patty) of Alexandria and I'm kind of freaking out now" said another.

Another saw this as even more reason to aspire to get into The Good Place. "Getting a milkshake made of stardust with Lisa Kudrow is my new life goal," they tweeted, referring to The Good Place drink that's apparently quite a hit up there.

One eagle-eyed fan pointed out that this was set up ages ago, when Michael (Ted Danson) gave his opinion about which 'Friends' character would be most likely to get into The Good Place, tweeting "The way that they have Lisa Kudrow on friends and Michael said the only friend that didn't deserve to be in the bad place was Phoebe... we love seeing things come full circle."

The series finale of 'The Good Place' airs on January 29 on NBC.
