'The Flash' Season 6: Speed is Barry Allen's strength in an action-packed trailer that also sets up 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'

The 'Crisis' is imminent and Team Flash is aware that the Scarlet Speedster will vanish during the course of action.

'The Flash' released a new trailer ahead of its return and for the first time since that eventful season 5 finale, we see Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) gearing up for the biggest fight of his life. The 'Crisis' is imminent and Team Flash is aware that the Scarlet Speedster will vanish during the 'Crisis.'

The trailer begins with Barry telling Iris (Candice Patton) about his visions that he saw in the future. One of them includes a panic-stricken world followed by a brief shot of Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), does this mean he is a casualty of 'Crisis'?  Barry also embraces the fact that he was given powers for a reason — to save everyone. In what comes as a bizarre surprise, Nora Allen (Michelle Harrison), Barry's mother, makes a quick appearance. John Wesley Shipp comes back as Barry's dad, and this sequence means one thing. Barry has traveled back in time again or tampered with the timeline.

In addition, the trailer also provides a look at Killer Frost's new costume and we also see the time vault looks like it's about to explode. One of the most notable lines in the trailer is Barry saying he might have to prepare the team for "a world without the Flash."  There's also footage of Barry interacting with Dr. Ramsey (Sendhil Ramamurthy), aka Bloodwork, asking him what keeps the speedster going even when the odds are stacked against him. Hope arises in the form of Barry's reply when he tells him "People I love."

Not much has been revealed about the new Harrison Wells or what's going on with Jay Garrick's helmet being passed. From the trailer, it is evident that the focus is purely on 'Crisis.' Things don't look too good for Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) either, but with Killer Frost out there, help isn't far away. This might probably be the last full trailer until the start of the season and it packs a wallop and hints at season 6 being the grandest yet.
