'The Flash' Season 6: Three things that we know about Tom Cavanagh's Harrison Nash Wells from 'License to Elongate'

It is too early to say but fans are supremely confident that Nash will indeed go on to become Pariah.

'License to Elongate' may have largely been about Barry (Grant Gustin) and Ralph Dibny's (Hartley Sawyer) undercover mission, but the episode also managed to weave in a story about Harrison Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh). The latest Nash iteration is more of an Indiana Jones kind who calls himself a multiversal explorer. The last couple of episodes have shed light on the character and at the moment, it is still unclear whose side he's on.

In the episode, Nash recruits Allegra Garcia (Kayla Compton) one of the metas with the ability to manipulate electromagnetic waves. He does so to strike the invisible barrier behind which he believes The Monitor resides. Over the course of the episode, we learn three things about Nash.

The Monitor is an impostor

Call it a blunt and a bold statement to make, but it does seem that Nash has a thing or two against Mar Novu, aka The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett). He believes that the cosmic entity is a fake and beating the truth out of him would be a way of saving Barry Allen.

Nash and Allegra

When the duo works together to figure out the digging points in the sewer, Nash helps Allegra realize her powers better and also convinces that she isn't like her evil cousin, Esperanza, aka Ultraviolet. The move helps as Allegra manages to create a UV framework around the sewer wall where Nash believes is a barrier that he needs to be breached to expose the Monitor. The final minutes of the episode reveal that there was an Allegra doppelganger in Nash's world and the duo are somehow related. None of us know what it is about yet.

Is Nash unleashing the Anti-Monitor?

With Nash set to start the digging, fans have theorized that he may accidentally break the Anti-Monitor free. According to the comics, this could transform him into the Pariah, who was summoned by the Anti-Monitor and launched the multiverse-shattering battle. In his attempts to know how the universe was created, he grabs the evil entity's attention. Now free, he starts annihilating the multiverse.

At the moment, it is too early to make this a theory but fans are supremely confident that Nash will indeed go on to become Pariah. We don't know if that's the case, but his actions do point in the direction.

'The Flash' airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on The CW.
