'The Flash' Season 6 Episode 4 promo hints at Dr Ramsey Rosso embracing his chilling abilities as Bloodwork

With three strong episodes, it is highly likely that the series will continue in the same vein and showcase Bloodwork's complete transformation in the next couple of episodes
PUBLISHED OCT 23, 2019

Three episodes of 'The Flash' have been building up the origin of Dr. Ramsey Rosso's Bloodwork— one chapter at a time. The CW has released the promo and synopsis of episode 4 titled, 'There will be Blood', and the footage hints at Sendhil Ramamurthy's Bloodwork slowly evolving.

The synopsis reads: Barry’s (Grant Gustin) efforts to prepare Cisco (Carlos Valdes) for Crisis are derailed when Cisco schemes to save Barry’s life instead. Meanwhile, Ramsey Rosso (guest star Sendhil Ramamurthy) uses his deadly new abilities to save his own life, while sacrificing his humanity in the process. Marcus Stokes directed the episode written by Lauren Certo & Sterling Gates (#604)"

You can watch the promo here.

The 20-second clip sees Barry and Frost (Danielle Panabaker) arrive at a lab that looks like it was hit by a hurricane. They also find the body of a dead doctor who is shown to have been confronted by Ramsey before the duo reaches the scene. Ramsey can be heard in a voiceover saying, "I have to kill" hinting that he has trodden down the dark path. The rest of the footage sees him embracing his chilling abilities as Bloodwork and ends with Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) saying, "Happy Halloween, everyone".

With the synopsis also reading that Cisco has his own plans of saving Barry, does that have anything to do with him planning to get his breaching abilities back ,or are we looking at some complex science-backed theory that might just stop Barry from dying in the 'Crisis'?  With three strong episodes, it is highly likely that the series will continue in the same vein and showcase Bloodwork's complete transformation in the next couple of episodes.

What are your thoughts on Cisco's plans to save Barry?

'The Flash' airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on The CW.
