'The Flash' Season 6 Episode 3 promo sees Ralph Dibny discover a family secret as Bloodwork prepares to take on Barry

By the looks of it, the episode may already see Barry set his plan in motion— To prepare his team for a 'world without the Flash'.

'The Flash' season 6 has hit the ground running and has already given the audience terrifying glimpses of the inevitable 'Crisis' and a chilling villain in Dr. Ramsey Rosso's Bloodwork.  The CW has released the promo and the official synopsis for episode 3, 'Dead Man Running' giving us the latest look at what's next for Team Flash.

The official synopsis reads: "GET READY FOR A KILLER PARTY - Knowing that Crisis is only weeks away, Barry (Grant Gustin) prepares a member of Team Flash for life without him while hunting a terrifying meta-human with an unquenchable thirst. Meanwhile, Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) uncovers a family secret."

Meanwhile, the promo sheds a light on Sendhil Ramamurthy's Bloodwork and hints at conflict between him and Barry. You can watch the promo here:

By the looks of it, the episode may already see Barry set his plan in motion— To prepare his team for a "world without the Flash". Meanwhile, Rosso is out there giving a description of the imminent threat that's about to ram team Flash and Central City.  The other interesting aspect is the family secret angle that has been teased for Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer). We can assume the episode will explore his family details in some way. Fueling this theory is the fact that he spent his break searching for Sue Dearbon (his wife in the comics). This could lead to an interesting development over the course of the series.

Sawyer had earlier told Comicbook about how his character arc would pan out in season 6.  "There’s some stuff in the comics with Sue and Ralph where they go really, really deep into that and I don’t know when exactly we’re going to see and if we’re going to see Sue", he explained.

"But in terms of him getting out there and dating and falling for somebody, I would love to see how he takes that on. Maybe he gets his heartbroken. Maybe he gets disappointed. How would he deal with that is something that’s really exciting and interesting to me. Now that he has more confidence because the family support of Team Flash has given him this confidence to kind of mature and grow into who he was always going to be."

'The Flash' season 6 airs Tuesdays 8 pm on The CW.
