'The Flash' Season 6 Episode 3 preview may see Barry warn his team about the 'Crisis' and have his first showdown with Bloodwork

The other interesting aspect is the family secret angle that has been teased for Ralph Dibny. We can assume the episode will explore his family details in some way
PUBLISHED OCT 22, 2019

Two episodes of 'The Flash' are done and it is evident that the journey ahead is an arduous one for Team Flash. Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) trip to the future gives him a glimpse of the destruction and deaths that are in store. In addition to the imminent 'Crisis', the Scarlet Speedster also has a chilling, formidable foe in Dr. Ramsey Rosso aka Bloodwork (Sendhil Ramamurthy). With 20 episodes to go, the pre-crisis chapters have wasted no time in setting up new characters and their storylines.

The upcoming episode, 'Dead Man Running' will most likely take over from the previous episode where Barry may break the news of his impending death to the team. The official synopsis reads: "GET READY FOR A KILLER PARTY - Knowing that Crisis is only weeks away, Barry (Grant Gustin) prepares the members of Team Flash for life without him while hunting a terrifying meta-human with an unquenchable thirst. Meanwhile, Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) uncovers a family secret."

By the looks of it, the episode may already see Barry set his plan in motion— to prepare his team for a "world without the Flash". Meanwhile, Rosso is out there giving a description of the imminent threat that's about to ram team Flash and Central City.  The other interesting aspect is the family secret angle that has been teased for Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer). We can assume the episode will explore his family details in some way. Fueling this theory is the fact that he spent his break searching for Sue Dearbon (his wife in the comics). This could lead to an interesting development over the course of the series.

It is interesting to see how Rosso makes his way into Team Flash. From the final trailer ahead of the season, we saw a glimpse of him talking to Barry and the rest of Team Flash. Perhaps 'Dead Man Running' will give shed more light on the episode.

'The Flash' Season 6 airs Wednesdays at 8 pm on The CW.
