'The Flash' Season 6 Episode 15: Barry uses speed steroids, fans say his 'recklessness' almost killed Frost
Things are getting intense on 'The Flash'. Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) desperation is reaching a peak, as the speed force is dead. And it couldn't have come at a worse time, as Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh) returns to take hold of Nash Wells's body and is more than ready to unleash hell on Barry's life. And there's a new villain, Sunshine, who is creating a ruckus too. While Team Flash gets ready to fight their battles and exorcise Eobard Thawne from Nash, Barry decides to take the extreme step of taking steroids, despite Caitlin Snow's warnings. She warned him that they have no idea what the side effects could be but his recklessness, however, gets Caitlin injured at the hands of Sunshine.
Fans are rather irritated with Barry at this point and said that he should have just listened to Caitlin. "Barry this what happens when you don't listen to Caitlin #TheFlash," wrote one fan.
Another tweeted, "That was reckless Barry almost got Frosty killed."
"Barry took the drugs?! Why are you like this, Barry? Why?!" tweeted another fan.
One fan wrote, "Barry should be careful with speed steroids. That stuff will mess with your junk like a mother."
"Barry Allen is an Idiot. He got Caitlin hurt. That’s it," tweeted a fan.
"Nice going Barry you hurt Killer Frost," wrote another fan.
Barry's path of righteous virtue has always led to some trouble for him and his family. One viewer wrote, "Anyone else getting tired of Barry's self-righteousness constantly complicating things?" questioned a fan. "Why doesn't Barry ever listen until it's too late?" asked another fan.
"Barry should NOT have taken that Velocity X.. Idiot..." tweeted a fan.
Some fans are just hoping for the real Iris West (Candice Patton) to return and join the battle. Unfortunately, she has been trapped in the Mirror World by Eva McCullogh. Meanwhile, Cisco is trying to save Nash Wells from being encroached by the Reverse-Flash/ Thawne. Thawne has just entered the darker parts of Nash's psyche and realized that his feelings of guilt and pain are due to the loss of his daughter.
'The Flash' airs on The CW, Tuesdays at 9 pm.
