'The Flash' Season 6: The Scarlet Speedster is back with a new intro post 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'

Unlike the old theme that has Barry's VO, the new one shows the key characters

'The Flash' is back after a lengthy hiatus and a new opening intro. Unlike the old theme that has Barry's (Grant Gustin) VO, the new one shows the key characters, Barry, Iris West (Candice Patton), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Joe West (Jesse L Martin), Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet) and Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer).

You can watch the intro here.  The series picks up after the multiverse-shattering 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' and the focus is on Iris. The Scarlet Speedster rocked a new suit and stopped a black hole from devouring the city in the pilot episode of the new season while the Queen's Flash theme blared in the background.

This just goes on to say, 'The Flash' has been introducing some great additions, classic and new to make the series a lot more interesting. And it is most definitely an epic way to start the series.

Blake Neely's theme remains the same in the background. The intro's montage of all the characters also looks a lot more cinematic in nature. The episode 'Marathon' however, doesn't show Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) as part of the episode, despite him being featured in the intro.

The 15-second intro also has fleeting montages of some of the important moments of the previous episodes. There have been a few new intros in the past for the Arrowverse shows, this style though comes across as fairly unique.

What are your thoughts on the new opening title sequence?

'The Flash' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm on The CW.
