The Five's Greg Gutfeld suggests Dana Perino listen to thrash metal music to stay inspired for second GOP debate
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The second GOP debate for the 2024 presidential election is just hours away, and hosts of 'The Five' are already preparing for most talked about political event.
This especially includes the three moderators who will be looking over the debate and will represent America in testing the presidential hopefuls.
Fox News moderator, Dana Perino, received a little help from 'The Five' co-host Greg Gutfeld as he gave her a special gift to prepare herself for the big day.
This gift included some music albums that the Fox News host hoped would "inspire" Perino.

While Perino has already been away from her regular 'The Five' appearances for the debate being held in Simi Valley, California, her colleagues at work made sure to gift her things to encourage and congratulate her on the major moment for her career.
Gutfeld, the eccentric and comedic personality on the news show, decided to show his support with a set of metal albums.
So @GregGutfeld gave @DanaPerino these albums in preparation for the presidential debate:

The Fox News host has previously shared his love for metal music and decided to share some of it with Perino as well.
The set of albums included 'Reign in Blood' by Slayer, which was a necessary thrash metal addition according to Gutfeld.
It also had 'Houdini Live' by The Melvins which the host labeled as "one of the best metal albums ever" along with 'AfterLife' by Five Finger Death Punch, 'Raw Power' by Iggy Pop, and 'Bite' by A Giant Dog.
Dana Perino compares metal album cover to the presidential debate
While going through the albums that Gutfeld talked about with much more excitement than their daily political discussions, Perino related the Five Finger Death Punch album to the GOP debate.
"This one feels likes what could happen at the debate," she joked as 'The Five' hosts shared a laugh over it.
Perino also joked about the A Giant Dog album which had a creature on the cover. "Separated at birth," she said while putting the album next to her face.
In the end, Gutfeld made it clear that he wanted the albums back "unopened" after Perino was done going through them.
