'The Five' hosts pick top GOP candidates with Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley leading the way
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The Five' hosts have revealed their favorite Republican candidates from the primaries debate.
Fox News hosted the first GOP debate and the anticipation for the 2024 presidential election has grown even greater.
'The Five' hosts were ready with their thoughts on the debate and seemed to have clear favorites among the Republican candidates who shared their plans for America's future.
It certainly seemed like Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley were leading the way.
Even if the hosts did not agree with all the arguments, they seemed to like them for what they brought to the debate.

When was the first GOP Presidential Debate?
The first debate that ushered in this season of American elections took place on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
The debate focused on the Republican Party and invited candidates who will run in the 2024 presidential election.
Who were the candidates in the GOP debate?
The candidates that took part in the first GOP debate were, Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Mike Pence, Chris Christie, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Doug Burgum, and Asa Hutchinson.
Former President Donald Trump was also scheduled to participate in the debate, but decided against it, especially after his multiple indictments.
Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy's 'impressive' performances
Judge Jeanine Pirro opened the discussion by saying that Ramaswamy and Haley were the surprising highlights of the GOP debate.
"I thought Vivek was the populist guy who was a non-politician in business like Donald Trump," Pirro said, "He was the first one to say even if Trump is convicted I'll go for it."
"I was impressed with Nikki Haley," she further shared, adding, "She has a lot of foreign policy experience and she showed it."
The host also came forward to defend Haley on a comment made by another Fox host that suggested she was being too loud.
"Why is he picking on the woman when the men were all yelling at each other as well?" she questioned, adding, "That was very offensive. I wonder how many Americans thought that."
Pirro also shared that the promising candidate Ron DeSantis was quite disappointing in the way he presented his arguments but was still one of the better candidates.
Host Greg Gutfeld, while not completely on board with Ramaswamy's popularity, said, "The focus was on Vivek but not on DeSantis. DeSantis is supposed to be number 2 but they didn't him like that. They treated Vivek like number 2."
"You can kinda tell he's got it," Gutfeld added.
Democrat Jessica Tarlov calls out Vivek Ramaswamy for plagiarism
The panel finally got around to seeking the opinion of the only Democratic moderator, Jessica Tarlov, who inevitably is often antagonized by the other moderators.
She mentioned Chris Christie as one of the more liked candidates by the blue party but came down to Ramaswamy and Haley as her favorites as well.
What seemed to bother her was Ramaswamy's speech plagiarism. "I think it was very strange that he started off by copying Barach Obama," Tarlov said, adding, "That line about the skinny guy with the funny name? That's what Barack Obama said when he accepted his nomination at the DNC! Why would you copy someone as your introduction to the world? And not only copy someone but a Democrat and that too the most popular Democrat?"
"I enjoyed Nikki Haley," she added. "She is obviously not my political cup of tea. But seeing a woman up there is just fundamentally exciting," she further said.
