'The Five' host Greg Gutfeld claims Palestinians are trying to create 'artificial Holocaust' amid war with Israel
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Greg Gutfeld once again made a controversial claim as the panel on 'The Five' continued discussing reactions to the Israel-Palestine war.
While slamming university students for leading pro-Palestine demonstrations throughout America, the host claimed that the protesters are being "brainwashed." He also claimed that Palestinians are trying to create an "artificial Holocaust" in an attempt to "cancel out the real one."
Gutfeld also went on to say that the Palestinians are trying to take away the "power" from the Jews using "brainwashing."
Greg Gutfeld calls pro-Palestine protests 'hysteria'
All around the world, there have been major protests by big groups of people calling for a ceasefire as thousands have so far been killed in Palestine by the Israeli military operation.
The US has largely seen these protests being led by university students which, according to Gutfeld, is caused by "brainwashing."
"This is not a protest movement, it's hysteria," the host said, "You're witnessing a hysteria. It's a brainwashing effect when you look at how the seeds were planted and amplified by the oppression filter."
Many of these protestors have called out the occupation of Palestine by Israel and have demanded an end to the regime. Gutfeld included this as evidence of the hysteria.
"You talked about the sloganeering; that's the linguistics of hysteria. Using phrases like 'decolonization', you don't even know what that means. Or 'resistance', calling terrorists 'resistance fighters'."
Gutfeld also added, "They're targeting a very susceptible group, and that is American college students. Because [the students] live in a plastic bubble...So, they're completely cut off from outside perspectives and they refuse critical thinking because critical thinking is kind of an absolute philosophy, it's obviously racist."
Greg Gutfeld claims Palestinians are 'creating artificial Holocaust' on purpose
The Fox host also slammed transgender people during his rant.
"So, now they can believe in anything you know, a man is a woman, a jew is a Nazi," Gutfled said with reference to the "brainwashing."
He then made the claim that the Palestinians, along with Hamas, are trying to create their own version of the Holocaust.
He said, "What they are trying to do now is they're trying to create an artificial Holocaust to cancel out the real one. I think that's what they're doing. Because they're trying to take away that power from the Jews."
Since Israel started bombing the Gaza Strip almost three weeks ago, over 6,500 Palestinians have been killed. While it is unclear who Gutfeld is blaming here for the so-called recreation of one of the most horrific mass killings, it seems like he is targeting Palestinians for it.
