'The Family Chantel': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and everything else about TLC show

With less than a week left for the series to premiere, here's everything you need to know about 'The Family Chantel'

Time for TLC fans to rejoice as the network is set to release a new spinoff series from the '90 Day Fiance' franchise called 'The Family Chantel'. 

Revolving around '90 Day Fiance: Happy Ever After' fan favorites Pedro and Chantel along with their in-laws, the series is set to premiere in less than a week.

“This is an awesome moment for TLC, as we create a family show based on one of our most popular 90 Day couples, and on a whole new night,” said Howard Lee, President and General Manager of TLC in a press release. “Our fans can’t get enough of Pedro, Chantel, and their larger-than-life families. For a brand known as THE destination for love, relationships and family shows, THE FAMILY CHANTEL hits the bullseye.”

Release Date

The series is set to premiere on TLC on July 24, 2019. 

Plot

According to TLC's website, the show revolves around, "Pedro and Chantel who have weathered major marital ups and downs involving everything from feisty family members to their own trust issues. Viewers will follow this unique modern family as they try to move past their differences and come together as an extended family, but as Chantel’s parents Karen and Thomas try to protect their brood, will they push their children too far?" 

Cast

The main cast includes Pedro and Chantel. Their family members will also be featured in the upcoming series, and that includes Chantel’s parents Karen and Thomas and siblings River and Winter, as well as Pedro’s mother Lidia and sister Nicole.

Trailer 

Get ready for some drama, cause the trailer shows nothing but that. Starting off we see Pedro revealing to his friends that he married into a circus. He then heads over to an office and talks to a lady regarding him bringing his mother and sister to live in the US permanently. After that is when the drama starts, as Chantel doesn't agree with his family and claims they are trying to split them up. The trailer also showcases Chantel having a tiff with Pedro's mother and sister.
