CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA: A wave of chaos erupted online as a video surfaced showing dozens of pastors praying over former President Donald Trump for his victory.
On Saturday, December 2, more than 150 pastors and religious leaders gathered to pray over Trump before he went on stage at his Cedar Rapids event, now being called his "Save America" rally, according to Daily Mail.

In the video, the prayer group leader was heard chanting, "The gates of hell shall not prevail against him. We are talking about this for him. Lord, I pray for protection for him; I pray for protection for his family."
They continued, "All the weapons that have been formed against him will not succeed, and lord, they will not come to anything, and the traps that have been set against him."
In a press conference, Pastor Dan McCoy, Senior Baptist Church Pastor First in Urbandale, expressed, "The overwhelming support from Iowa's faith leaders is a clear indication of President Trump's unwavering commitment to the principles and values important to people of faith."
Donald Trump calls Joe Biden 'the destroyer of American democracy'
Following a blessing from church leaders, Donald Trump took the stage to slam President Joe Biden.
At the event, the former POTUS persisted in accusing that the 2020 election was rigged and continued to target "crooked" Biden. "He’s been weaponizing government against his political opponents like a Third World political tyrant," said Trump.
He continued, "Biden and his radical left allies like to pose as standing up as allies of democracy. Joe Biden is not the defender of American democracy; Joe Biden is the destroyer of American democracy."

Trump went so far as to say that he would be crowned the US President and winner of the race in 2024 by Jesus and God.
He claimed, "I think if you had a real election and Jesus came down and God came down and said, "I'm gonna be the scorekeeper here," I think we'd win there, I think would win in Illinois, and I think it we'd win in New York."
"I got indicted four times because I’m questioning a crooked election. But we’re not questioning it. We know the results, we know. And when we go through courts — if we ever even have to do it because you have presidential privilege," added the ex-POTUS.
Internet reacts to pastors praying over Donald Trump
After the video of Donald Trump being blessed by pastors for the 2024 presidential election surfaced on social media, several netizens mocked him and the ritual.
One joked, "Really? An exorcism? Did his head spin around? If it didn’t the exorcism didn’t take," while another added, "This doesn’t appeal to Trump’s god complex whatsoever I’m sure."
"Trump is the furthest thing from a real Christian as you can get," opined a person, with someone else quipping, "He’s notorious for not paying his vendors. In this case, he’ll get repossessed."
"Wondering... did these Pastors and faith leaders explain how they determined "an Exorcism on Donald Trump" was necessary...? 🤔," jokingly inquired one more.
