Plot
‘The Christmas Temp’ deals with a struggling artist (Sara Canning), who is on a desperate hunt for jobs to make ends meet. She finally finds the right fit for herself in a Christmas Temp agency, a job that she takes up with the slightest hope of securing gigs throughout the festive season. However, things for her do not go as planned, thus landing her in a creative rut, when the agency’s attractive HR manager distracts her.

Sara Cannings
Sara Cannings, who has featured in some of the most renowned projects such as, the television series ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and the blockbuster film ‘War for the Planets of the Apes’, will be seen as the struggling artist in Lifetime’s upcoming film ‘The Christmas Temp’.
She is known for her recurring role in Netflix’s ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ and was last seen as Katherine Drew in ‘Nancy Drew’.
Robin Dunne
Robin Dunne is a Canadian actor popular for his role as Doctor Will Zimmerman in the sci-fi television series ‘Sanctuary’. In ‘The Christmas Temp’, he is seen as the HR manager, who Sara Cannings is smitten with. He has also appeared in other series such as, ‘Dead Like Me’, ‘Code Breakers’ , ‘NCIS’ and a few others.
