As 'The Chi' Season 3 draws to a close, there are still quite a few loose ends the hit Showtime drama will hope to tie up. The previous episode, 'Frunchroom' highlighted the struggles of Kiesha Williams who after her rescue from captivity saw her suffer from mental trauma. Williams' too had a tough time comprehending all that's happened. However, there was light at the end of the tunnel as she began therapy in the final minutes of the episode.

The episode may have come across like a soap opera considering the storyline, but in no way is it subtle and rightfully so. Women like Kiesha are an example of the unfortunate women who succumb to rape and more horrid forms of sexual abuse in the present day, and while the series gives a second lease of life for the character, the world isn't really so kind as to provide a second chance to most women.

With two episodes left before the season ends, the next episode 'Lackin' sees Jake (Michael V Epps) make some startling discoveries about Otis Perry (Curtiss Cook) while his brother Trig (Luke James) attempts to get custody of Jake. The promo clip also sees Ronnie Davis (Ntare Mwine) accepted and hailed a hero after his part in rescuing Kiesha. You can watch the promo here:

But then, life isn't the same for most other characters. For starters, Emmett (Jacob Latimore) is in big trouble, especially after his fling with Dom (La La Anthony). He cheated on Tiffany (Hannaha Hall) and from the looks of it, he's in deep s*it as she suspects him in the clip. The only good news for him is that he now owns Sonny's and that means a rise in business.

The official synopsis reads: "Ronnie is praised by his church community, while others won’t let him forget his mistakes. Emmett and Dom (La La Anthony) prepare for their grand opening. Kevin tries to balance his relationships with his obligations." There are quite a few unanswered questions: What's next for Ronnie? Will Tiff divorce Emmett? What's going to happen with Kevin and Jemma (Judae'a)?

'Lackin' has to answer most of these questions and more that arise when the episode airs Sunday night 9 pm ET on Showtime.
