Veteran Aneesa Ferreira got sent home from 'The Challenge: Total Madness' this week. This elimination was especially heartbreaking because she has been shown the exit doors right before a final four times earlier. This season, it could have been different for her but clearly, her peers had other plans. She competed against Bayleigh Dayton, a rookie, in the final challenge and despite putting in her 100 percent, lost to the newbie. But that shouldn't cast a shadow on her competitive skills.

Both Aneesa and Bayleigh had to tie knots on their cars in 15 minutes and once done, they were tasked to untie all the knots except the ones on the opponent's car. At one point, it seemed Aneesa would finish first but Bayleigh picked up the pace. "I wish it was head-to-head cause she probably wouldn't have stood a chance," Aneesa said during her exit interview. All of this could have been avoided had Josh Martinez named Melissa Reeves (which was another popular choice) but he went with Aneesa.

However, she isn't losing hope completely. Aneesa promised to train and come back for the next season. Meanwhile, fans have expressed their disappointment over her elimination on social media with some even blaming Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio for it.

"I've been watching 'The Challenge' since about 2004-5 so Aneesa has been a TV staple for 15-16 years now. Girl, you may not have made it to this final but I’m always rooting for you. You killed in that elim and it was really so close. @ChallengeMTV @AneesaMTV #TheChallenge," a fan commented. Another blamed Johnny for her exit:  "Johnny was the one that started the 'Aneesa can’t run a final' campaign and idk to me that shit reeks of misogyny and racism masqueraded as a criticism of her abilities as a competitor. #TheChallenge."

"I’m glad Bayleigh won but Aneesa shouldn’t have been sent down. They shoulda put Dee’s arse in. My girl Aneesa can’t get a damn break. She deserved to be in that final @AneesaMTV #TheChallenge35 #TheChallenge," a viewer expressed. Catch all the new episodes of  'The Challenge: Total Madness' on MTV every Wednesday.
