'The Challenge': Will CT restart rivalry with Wes after hitting his face with shoe? Fans think it's hilarious

'Wes getting hit in the face with the shoe is probably be best challenge movement I’ve ever seen,' a fan commented

Chris 'CT' Tamburello and Wes Bergmann's rivalry is well known. They were in 'The Challenge: Rivals' together. Even though they started off well, CT got sour when he lost one of the elimination tasks. That was when Wes called him out for being such a baby and the rest is history. CT wasn't that riled up then as he was when Wes commented on his relationship with Danielle Michelle 'Diem' Brown. They took a break from their fued for a few years before returning to bombard each other with curse words. 

For the first task on 'The Challenge: Double Agents' premiere, the contestants were split into two teams. Of the girls, Aneesa Ferreira won while Faysal Shawn 'Fessy' Shafaat led from the boys' team. The challenge was to run up a slope and catch hold of a capsule that had wire combinations on it and then return to a station where they would match the combo to the wires present on the briefcase, which would result in the detonator going off. Since there was just one capsule, it was a given that there would be physical aggression. But no one had imagined that it would reach a level where CT would take off someone's shoe and hit Wes' face with it. Although, it seems like an accident because CT didn't know Wes was standing right behind him.

Meanwhile, fans seem to be loving the fact that Wes got hit. 

"Wes getting a shoe to the face may be the funniest moment in #TheChallenge36 history," a fan commented, while another shared: "Wes casually getting smacked with the shoe is the highlight of this season. Idc what else happens. #TheChallenge36."

"Wes getting hit in the face with the shoe is probably be best challenge movement I’ve ever seen. #TheChallenge36," a user tweeted, another pointed out: "Wes getting slapped in the mouth with the shoe will probably be my favorite thing this season #TheChallenge36." One more said, "DEF one of the funniest moments in Challenge history!"
