LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Boys' Season 4 debuted on Prime Video on Thursday, June 13 and Homelander stands out as one of the most powerful Supes, similar to Superman.

His abilities include super strength to demolish buildings, incredible speed in flight, and devastating laser vision.

Despite his overwhelming power, a few characters stand a chance against him. Whether matching his strength or using their abilities cleverly, these individuals have the potential to defeat Homelander.

Here are 5 characters from 'The Boys' who we believe can defeat, even kill, Homelander.

Black Noir

Black Noir has a unique edge over every other character in 'The Boys' because he's the only one known to have defeated Homelander in a fight.

In 'The Boys' #65, it's revealed that Black Noir is actually a clone of Homelander, created specifically to eliminate him if necessary.

Despite being evenly matched in theory, Black Noir managed to accomplish what seemed impossible by killing Homelander. This drove him mad because he couldn't fulfill his intended purpose.

Queen Maeve

In 'The Boys', Queen Maeve is often seen battling alcoholism but is reputed as one of the most powerful Supes globally, rivaling even Black Noir and Homelander.

When faced directly by Homelander, she boldly charges at him with a sword, despite it being just a prop. This gives Homelander an opening to fatally strike her.

In her prime, Maeve might have had a chance against Homelander before her skills and reflexes were dulled by constant drinking.

Starlight

Starlight may not appear formidable at first glance, but she wields significant power. In 'The Boys' #42, it's revealed that her bursts of light can reach up to 1 million candlepower.

Translating that, her bursts measure about 12.7 million lumens, making them 100 times brighter than sunlight at Earth's orbit, which is around 127,000 lumens.

This immense power was enough to blind A-Train, suggesting Starlight could potentially blind Homelander as well, giving her a strong advantage in a confrontation.

Kimiko

Among Billy Butcher’s crew, Kimiko stands out for directly killing more Supes than any other member. Exposed to Compound V at a young age, she carries a bloodlust that compels her to seek out and destroy Supes.

Although she lacks powers beyond enhanced strength and durability, Kimiko has eliminated entire armed squads and numerous Supes who were potentially stronger than her.

While she would be punching above her weight class, Kimiko's formidable skills and relentless thirst for violence give her a reasonable chance of taking down Homelander.

Billy Butcher

Billy Butcher and his mentor, Greg Mallory, are not as powerful as Homelander, even with Butcher using Compound V, which only gives him a fraction of Homelander's strength.

However, they understood that defeating someone like Homelander required careful, long-term planning rather than a quick fix. The Boys were created to control the Supes' actions, and surprisingly, they were quite successful.

Over time, Butcher gathered enough information to nearly wipe out the entire Supe population on Earth. His ruthlessness and Mallory’s teachings on deception and strategy made them formidable opponents to Supes like Homelander.
