'The Boys' Season 3 Episode 5: Maeve and Billy's sex scene, and the possibility of her death leaves fans aghast

Queen Maeve's (Dominique McElligott) future was the topic of discussion on Twitter. 'The Boys' Season 3 Episode 5 puts the spotlight on the character twice — one when she has sex with William Butcher (Karl Urban) — something none of the fans saw coming, and then being whisked away by Noir after Homelander (Antony Starr) figures out she was planning to kill him.

If the supe were to indeed die, then perhaps it all began when she came to Butcher for help and gave him Temp V so that he could join the fight in killing the leader of the Seven. Fans were also concerned about the possibility of her death despite the meager optimism. "Black Noir will torture Maeve for information (remember the knife scene in the trailer).
