A short teaser for the upcoming episode, the finale of 'The Boys' Season 2 was released and it features Becca at a place where she knew Butcher would be. At the end of episode 7, we had seen how Stormfront, Homelander's girlfriend, had managed to wedge a gap between Becca and her son Ryan when Homelander brought her around for a visit. Not only did she end up alienating Ryan from Becca by revealing that she was a liar who did not deserve his love, but she also forced Becca to beg Homelander.

Becca went to the extent of telling Homelander that at the moment she is trying to give her son the life that Homelander never had. She tries to help him understand why it is important for Ryan to be with her, however, none of this works. Instead, she ends up being shocked when Stormfront and Homelander fly away with her child. The reason why Stormfront is interested in Ryan is that unlike Stormfront's own daughter, Ryan is a supe who would have the same kind of life expectancy that she and Homelander have. Secondly, he is also the first of his kind. Unlike Stormfront, Homelander, Black Noir, or Starlight, who have all been genetically engineered to hold superpowers through compound V, Ryan is the first natural-born supe.

In the short teaser that the official Twitter handle released of the show before the premiere of the finale, we see Becca in tears, arrive to find Billy and tell him that her son has been taken. As much as Billy doesn't like the idea of Becca having a supe son, he might not stand by as she watches her son get snatched away. The question however is what can Billy do at the moment.

Even Congress, which was all set to hear a case against Vought regarding Compound V and illegal human trials and experiments, were thwarted after the speaker, the witness and many others heads were squashed bloody by an invisible force. Is this the work of the Collective that Deep belongs to? After all, the founder seems to be connected at the hip with Edgar of Vought. He had even promised both Deep and A-Train a way for them to return to the Seven. So that big mess at the end of episode 7, the mass murder we mean, could be their work.

At this moment, when someone holds enough power to squash the life out of humans with a simple thought, can the Boys headed by Billy really do anything to the Seven?

'The Boys' Season 2 new episodes will release on Fridays and can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
