Plot
'The Book of Boba Fett' follows the story of bounty hunter Boba Fett, the cloned son of Jango Fett. Jango Fett is the original bounty hunter that the Stormtroopers who wiped out the Jedi were cloned from. Boba Fett took up his father's helmet and Mandalorian armor to become a bounty hunter in his own right, before falling into a ravenous Sarlacc Pit on Tatooine in 'Return of the Jedi'.
He was presumed dead for a long time but he appears alive and well on 'The Mandalorian'. The show will follow his journey leading up to his appearance there.
Cast
Temuera Morrison
Temuera Morrison plays Boba Fett. Morrison also played Boba's father, Jango, in the 'Star Wars' prequel film, 'Attack of the Clones'. Besides his 'Star Wars' work, Morrison has played other famous fathers — he's played the father on 'Moana' as well as the father of Aquaman, Thomas Curry, on 'Aquaman'.
Ming-Na Wen
Ming-Na Wen plays Fennec Shand, a bounty hunter who fell foul of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and was left for dead, only to be rescued by Boba Fett who saved her life by giving her cybernetic upgrades. Ming-Na Wen is most known for her role as the voice of Mulan in Disney's animated 'Mulan' as well as her roles on 'Agents of SHIELD', 'Streetfighter' and 'ER'.
