'The Book of Boba Fett' Episode 7: Fans feel 'top tier finale could have been better'

It was an explosive finale of 'The Book of Boba Fett' as the Disney+ series gave fans a generous dose of action and immense fan service. After two episodes that put the spotlight on Pedro Pascal's Mandalorian, Grogu and Luke Skywalker, the finale is all Boba and the gang as they take on the Pyke Syndicate. It was a helluva battle filled with some doses of comedy and tender moments between Mando and Grogu, but the scintillating chapter was well-received by fans although criticism did seep in.

Overall a satisfying conclusion to the series and plenty of cool moments to enjoy #TheBookOfBobaFett," another wrote. "We got a dank farrik rancor vs droid fight! We all knew it was coming to #TheBookOfBobaFett finale & it was great to see. The janky stop-motion movements of the rancor was a great touch to the original trilogy. It running around like original King Kong was also amusing," a tweet read.

"Okay thoughts on the #TheBookOfBobaFett finale: Very satisfying. Putting Cad Bane in the show was the best choice as it: 1) closed out another chapter from the cartoons (Clone Wars) 2) made a crimelord Boba Fett story to him outgrowing his quasi father figure when he kills him," another tweeted. "#TheBookofBobaFett finale is my favorite episode of the series, followed closely by the first episode. Overall I’m happy with the show, and I really want a season 2. I’ll wait to post more thoughts until more people have seen the episode," a tweet remarked.

Mixed reviews made their way in as well. "I am not a picky Star Wars fan, I actually like the sequels, but what the hell was the finale of #TheBookOfBobaFett ? It was awful! How can a series be so all over the place? How can an episode be all over the place?! It could have been so much better than whatever that was," a fan lamented.

"I really enjoyed the finale but please keep Robert Rodriguez away from Boba Fett and star wars in general, he is just no good. I loved it but cad banes fate was so anticlimactic. Boba riding the rancor tho was epic. Cad should've murdered the tik tok mods. #TheBookOfBobaFett," another sentimental fan opined.
