'The Bold Type' Season 4 Episode 14 Preview: Where are Sutton and Richard headed?
Spoilers for 'The Bold Type' Season 4 Episode 14
'The Bold Type' Season 4 is set to return on July 2 with Episode 14 titled 'The Truth Will Set You Free'. According to the official synopsis of the upcoming episode, "Jane Sloan (Katie Stevens) isn't comfortable in her post-surgery body, but a visit from her dad may change her outlook. Sutton Brady (Meghann Fahy) and Richard Hunter ( Sam Page) make plans for the future. Kat Edison (Aisha Dee) tries to move forward at work with a podcast, but her first episode comes with a price".
Ever since the show returned from its break, Jane has been having trouble with her post double mastectomy surgery. At first, it begins to affect her in the professional space. By the time she gains control over it, the insecurity creeps into her dating life. And now she finds herself stagnant in that space. In a promo for the next episode released by the network Jane is trying relentlessly to accept her body for what it is now. The synopsis for the episode suggests that she might get some closure in the upcoming episode and a visit from her father.
Elsewhere at the Belle, Kat is trying to regain her foothold in the professional space. She could work a podcast for the Belle but needs a strong first guest. The video promo shows that this first guest could be Ava Rose (Alex Paxton-Beesley). Ava and Kat have had their knives out for each other since Kat had Ava's father fired from his own company. But since the show's return, it is hinted that the two might have more in store than just being rivals. And we may have seen some chemistry between Kat and Ava. The show will be upsetting several fans who are still rooting for Adena (Nikohl Boosheri) and Kat.
The promo video also shows Sutton and Richard having "the talk". In the previous episode, after her miscarriage, Sutton had said that she was relieved that she is no longer pregnant. Richard, however, doesn't know about this yet. It is likely that she will be telling him the truth in the upcoming episode. At the same time, this could prove troublesome for her relationship with Richard.
Now that Sutton knows she can't give Richard what he wants, what is next for them?
