PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Adrian Stoica and Hurricane surprised the judges during the Season 18 Live Shows of 'America's Got Talent', which aired on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Hurricane stole the hearts of the audience and was hailed by fans on social media.

'AGT' kicked off its live shows on August 22 with the first round of "Qualifiers". During this stage of the competition, judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara are off the hook because all the power is in America's hands. Overnight, the audience votes for their favorite performers, with the results airing on Wednesday. Only two performers from each of the five "Qualifiers" will proceed to "The Finals".

Internet can't get over Hurricane and Adrian Stoica on 'AGT' Season 18 Live

Adrian and Hurricane, an Italian pet-ownder duo, distinguish themselves from other dog acts because Hurricane improvises ("goes rogue," Adrian explains) on stage, adding to the thrill of their show. Tonight they presented a funny story about Adrian attempting to conduct garden work while Hurricane thwarted most of his attempts.

The performance had the judges on their feet, with Howie declaring it his "favorite dog act ever on AGT". Heidi described Hurricane's ability to learn the exercises without the use of food as an incentive as "mind-blowing".

Sofia adores their performances and describes them as "ready for Vegas". Simon went on to say that "this is the best act we've seen tonight" in terms of improvement over their initial audition.

After watching the performance, one viewer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote, "This is my favorite act. Hurricane is so smart! Adrian is so funny and an excellent trainer! I was smiling and laughing the whole time! I loved it!"

Another said, "It is incredible how many tricks are packed into this act! Hurricane and Adrian are mowing over the competition!"

One also noted, "This was practically the only good act of the night. Best dog act ever. They HAVE to go to the finale. Border Collies/Collies are the absolute BEST dogs on earth and definitely the smartest. Amazing act!!! Brava! I love the natural hand gestures from Adrian."

One user tweeted, "I’m not normally a Dog act fan, however I love these two, might be the best animal act the show has ever seen, Hurricane has real talent."

One viewer noted, "I usually don't care for pet tricks, but this act was like a comedy skit. Very creative and funny." One also tweeted, "Best dog act ever on AGT Hurricane is absolutely sensational."

Another person wrote, "Hurricane! Smart dog & great performance. Loved it & want more. But tough competition & only 2 goes through." One person further noted, "I love a good pet act! That was so much fun to watch, and Hurricane is a beautiful dog! She was having lots of fun!"

Adrian and Hurricane's audition consisted of the furry friend performing a variety of dog tricks, such as high-fiving, completing an obstacle course for dogs, standing on his hind legs, sitting atop Adrian's feet, pulling a clothing rack, and jumping onto and bouncing off of Adrian's body to the song 'Better When I'm Dancing' by Meghan Trainor. They advanced to the next round when all four judges voted "Yes".
