CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: In FX's 'The Bear', Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) has played a crucial role in Carmy Berzatto's mission to transform his family's sandwich shop.

After taking on the role of sous-chef under Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) in Season 1, she struggled to earn the team's respect.

Through her leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and go-getter approach, she has proved to be the best asset Carmy could ever have.

However, it also comes under threat when Sydney is offered a new opportunity in Episode 7 of Season 3.

Sydney Adamu gets a new offer in 'The Bear' Season 3 Episode 7

In the opening scene of the episode, Sydney receives a text message from Shapiro inviting her to meet up.

Shapiro, who lost his job at Ever, has devised a plan to open his place and invites Sydney to join him. He not only proposes a partnership but also guarantees her various benefits such as medical coverage and bonuses.

Sydney, who hadn't expected such a lucrative opportunity, demands some time to think over it.

Will Sydney Adamu quit her job at Carmy Berzatto's restaurant in 'The Bear' Season 3?

Although initially, it seemed Sydney wouldn't entertain the new job offer, by the end of the episode, unfolding events highlight Sydney's dilemma.

While deciding the menu for the next day, Carmy dismisses every suggestion from Sydney, leaving her feeling neglected and undervalued at The Bear.

She is most likely to give more thought to Shapiro's offer as it would allow Sydney more freedom in her role.

Sydney will have to make a tough choice and if she ultimately chooses to go with Shapiro, Carmy would have to pay a hefty price with her departure from his ever-chaotic kitchen.

'The Bear' Season 3 is available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.
