Jenn gave her first-ever rose to Sam! At the Season 21 premiere of 'The Bachelorette' on Monday, June 8, she met her 25 suitors but ultimately fell for Sam, the general contractor from South Carolina, awarding him the First Impression Rose.

On X, fans criticized Jenn's decision, with one saying, "Watching Jenn give the first impression rose to the obvious f boy." Another fan expressed surprise, "Sam M for the first impression rose??"

Sam's night kept getting better as he announced that it was "shot o'clock" during his limo entrance. He had a pleasant conversation with Jenn, capped off with a peck on the cheek, earning him the first rose of the evening.

"I couldn't stop thinking about you all night. I don't always pick the right men, but there's something in my gut that's telling me there's something here, and I'm really excited about it," Jenn said to Sam. "I'm really excited to get to know you a lot more."

Jenn's first kiss as the Bachelorette with Sam was described as "feral." Reflecting on the moment, Jenn shared with the cameras, "It just feels so right. So much tension builds up all night, and it just feels nice to let it all out. I feel like I'm floating on cloud nine. I'm feeling so happy."

Who is Sam McKinney in 'The Bachelorette' Season 21?

Sam McKinney disclosed in his introduction package that he had been single for a year due to a traumatic event. He revealed that he had known the girl since middle school, and she had cheated on him after they got engaged. Sam stated in his show profile that, given his background, lying is the biggest turnoff for him.

Sam stated in a digital video for the program that he was in a motorcycle accident that could have killed him, but he managed to escape "without a scratch." He declared, "Any opportunity I get, I'm taking it head on" as a result.

Sam, who was homeschooled as a child, didn't start riding motorcycles after the tragedy. In his show profile, Sam stated that he enjoys "riding motorcycles, golfing, and watching Sons of Anarchy" in his free time.

His passion for animals is evident from the way he proudly displays his Australian Shepherd puppies on Instagram. He even posted a birthday greeting for his dog, Breaker, on the pup's first birthday back in 2020.

Furthermore, he disclosed in his profile on the show that he recently officiated his sister's wedding. His closeness to his family is not surprising, as he stated in his show bio that his "ultimate dream" is "to be a loving husband and father."
