LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Golden Bachelor' premiered on September 28, ushering in a new chapter in the Bachelor franchise with Radio DJ Faith Martin receiving the First Impression Rose. 

While there are 22 ladies fighting for Gerry Turner's heart, viewers have already placed their "faith" in this new ABC adventure with the season's First Impression Rose.

Faith Martin received the First Impression Rose in Thursday's premiere episode, leaving the other women devastated.

Gerry informed Faith that he gave her the First Impression Rose not for the motorcycle or her lovely voice, but for how she made him feel. "You're making me feel very special," he says.

For her first meeting with 'The Golden Bachelor' lead, Faith arrived on a motorcycle and serenaded Gerry with a tune on the guitar.

Gerry was moved by the music and told Faith that he adored her eyes. Faith informed Gerry that she felt tranquility around him, something she requires in her life.

Witnessing the chemistry between the two, one fan wrote on X, "Faith is out here getting revenge on all of the Kens for us Barbies. We love to see it." Another user quipped, "Faith accepting the rose." A third user exclaimed, "I AM SO HAPPY Faith + Gerry 4ever!!!!"

On Reddit, fans wrote, "The way he is looking at Faith is incredible. You can feel it through the screen."

Others described her as, "Faith is your high school friends Mom you love chatting with in the kitchen before going upstairs to your friends room."

Another person added, "I think I just watched Gerry fall in love with Faith."

Who was 'The Golden Bachelor' star Faith Martin married to?

Faith, 61, divorced her ex-husband, Brett Martin, after 20 years of marriage.

Brett, a nuclear chemical operator, died on August 13, 2022, at the age of 61, in his residence in Benton City.

Faith and Brett married in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1984. In December 2004, the 'The Golden Bachelor' celebrity filed for divorce after 20 years of marriage.

Their divorce was finalized in April 2005, with no spousal or child maintenance (their children, who are two years apart in age, were almost 20 at the time).

Faith received two cars, as well as her horse and trailer, while Brett kept his two Harley-Davidson motorcycles and one Ford truck.

Theresa Nist made her entrance into the show by promising Gerry a peek at her birthday suit beneath her robe. She unbuttoned her gown, seeming to flash the Golden Bachelor, who dropped his jaw!

Theresa grabbed Gerry's head and kissed him after flashing him as a joke. Theresa is 70 years old and from New Jersey. She also received a rose during the season's First Rose Ceremony.

Theresa has a son, Tommy, who resides in South Carolina with his wife and three boys, as well as a daughter, Jen, who also looks to have three children, making Theresa a grandmother of six.

Theresa's daughter has posted several condolences to her father, William "Bill" Nist, on Instagram, stating that he died in November 2014.

'The Golden Bachelor' airs every Thursday on ABC at 8 pm ET.
