'The Bachelorette' Season 16: Meet the 31 young men vying to win Clare Crawley's heart

ABC is taking every possible opportunity to declare that the upcoming Season 16 of 'The Bachelorette' is like nothing we have ever seen before and that might just be true. Right from Covid-19 not only impacting the filming but also the casting choice for the show and the rumors of the bachelorette, Clare Crawley, quitting the show midway after falling head-over-heels in love with one of the bachelors, there certainly seems to be a lot of drama that's in store for us. But before we go on a journey with Clare to watch her find the man of her dreams, let's first meet the 31 bachelors who are willing to fight it out for Clare's heart.

AJ Jalawan

This 28-year-old California boy, who also happens to be a software salesman, is certainly all set to win Clare's heart. AJ identifies himself as a modern Muslim and is looking for a partner that will "intellectually challenge him" and ensure that their life is fun as they grow old together. He is keen to pursue Clare because he thinks she is extremely mature and experienced. He was cast on the show as part of the coronavirus recasting.

Ben Smith

Ben Smith might just be 29-years-old but the personal trainer has sure seen a lot in life. After he graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, he became an Army Ranger. During his stint as a ranger, Ben suffered from a back injury that made him re-evaluate his life. Following his recovery, he decided not to return to active duty.
