'The Bachelorette' Season 15 will be the most emotional one yet, here's why
With Hannah Brown chosen as the bachelorette this season, it is speculated this might be an emotional season, and we think so too
'The Bachelor' season 23 is done and dusted, and up next, it is time to gear up for 'The Bachelorette' season 15, which will premiere on ABC May 13. When 'The Bachelor' premiered in January, Chris Harrison claimed it would the most dramatic season ever, and it did live up to that claim. Towards the end, during the fantasy suite round, the drama we witnessed grew exponentially.
Recently, it was revealed Hannah Brown will be the next bachelorette for season 15. And ever since that news was revealed, fans have had mixed opinions about it, with some claiming the producers had made a wrong choice. Now, it is too late to go back. And just like 'The Bachelor' season 23 was said to be dramatic, with Hannah Brown as the bachelorette this season, it is speculated this might be an emotional season, and we think so too. Here's why we think this season will be the most emotional one yet.
Even though we usually get to meet the contestants and see who receives the first rose when the season premieres, this season, the series took a different route and showcased the five contestants out of the 30, who would be battling it out for Brown's heart. Out of the five, the first person to impress Brown and receive a rose from her was Camron Ayala.
Hannah Brown met the first five contestants during 'The Bachelor' season 23 finale when they revealed that Brown was the next bachelorette. Among the five she met, Ayala was the one that impressed her the most and won the first rose after he rapped for her and blew rose petals for her as well.
His social media posts, which are now private, indicated he has a condition called lymphedema. This refers to suffering from swelling in the arms or legs. This medical condition almost forced Ayala to have his leg amputated. And if Ayala ever feels ready to tell Brown about his condition, this could result in a possibly emotional conversation at some point this season.
Another reason why this season might end up being emotional, is if someone brings up Brown's past from 'The Bachelor' season 23, the way she got eliminated after meeting Colton Underwood's parents, and maybe even about her relationship with Caelynn Keyes. Though Brown told Underwood she is over him and whatever happened during 'The Bachelor' on the 'Women Tell All' episode, these two topics, if brought up, could make for an emotional season.
During her participation for Miss USA and Alabama, Brown revealed she suffers from depression and anxiety. While this was not alluded to during 'The Bachelor' season 23, she may end up sharing about it during 'The Bachelorette'.
With just five contestants revealed, we cannot wait to see the other 25 contestants joining 'The Bachelorette.' Season 15 premieres on ABC May 13. Check your local listings for more information.
