'The Bachelorette' season 15: Hannah Brown gets slut-shamed by fans who sided with toxic Luke Parker

It did take Brown around nine weeks, but she finally got clarity over his toxicity and the red flags he was portraying.

The drama from Monday (June 15th) night's episode of 'The Bachelorette' season 15 has sunk in, and we can't wait to see what happens next week.

During Monday night's Fantasy Suite episode of 'The Bachelorette' season 15, we got to see the much anticipated heated argument between Luke Parker and Hannah Brown. It did take Brown around nine weeks, but she finally got clarity over his toxicity and the red flags he was portraying.

Though the day part of their date went well, things went for a U-Turn during their dinner date when Parker told Brown that if she had sex with the other guys on the show, he would leave home. Post their heated argument about her having sex, Brown shared that she had sex in a windmill and she had it twice.  "I have had sex... and Jesus still loves me," Brown told Parker who was shocked.

Brown also revealed that had she had finally gotten clarity and that she didn't want him to be her husband. After telling Parker what he deserved to hear, Brown gave him the boot and sent him packing, but not before she flipped him the bird.

Post the episode, fans took to social media to share how happy they were with her decision, and that she finally got rid of him. While fans of 'The Bachelorette' and Hannah Brown celebrated Parker's elimination, some fans, on the other hand, began slut-shaming Brown claiming that Parker was right, and she was in the wrong.

"Finally a man (Luke) who speaks the truth! Monogamy in a relationship is something to expect and hold out for. I know no woman that would continue to date a man that’s sleeping with multiple women. Again he has the guts to say what all men should," wrote a fan on Twitter.

Adding to that another fan said, "Personally, I think Hannah is in the wrong.. I wouldn’t want to propose to someone who slept with one of the other guys a week before I proposed, but that’s just me.."

"I feel sorry for Luke because I think he is in the right. Hannah is supposed to be on a quest to find a husband not to go "tilting" in every windmill. I hope she finds true love but I believe her final relationship will end up failing. She is right, Jesus still loves her," said a fan. While another added, "Hannah says pride was Luke’s motivation for questioning her sexual behavior with 2 other men. It was her pride & anger that caused her to fake explode & get all high & mighty. She’s not ready for a real relationship let alone marriage."

"Y’all don’t wanna hear this but Luke P was 100% in the right in his conversation with Hannah. He was also 100% correct when he said “slips up” and “decided to sin” are different. #TheBachelorette."

These comments didn't sit well with fans who claim Brown did the right thing, and who hate Parker because of his toxic masculinity. The took to Twitter and clapped back at them saying, "An AMAZING thread that embodies how I feel. All I’m sayin is that these self-proclaimed “Christians” that are defending Luke P. make me worried for their future children. #abuseisnotalwaysphysical #thebachelorette."

Overall one thing was very evident during Monday night's 'The Bachelorette'. Parker was using his spiritual leanings as a tactic to gain power over Brown and what she had to tell, it was also very much clear that while he was in the car he was red and shaking with temper and it was also clear that he had his fists clenched when he was about to leave. Brown was lucky to have her crew beside her, because one can never be sure what he would have done if she was alone.

'The Bachelorette' season 15 airs every Monday night on ABC. Check your local listings for more information.
