‘The Bachelorette’: Did producers tell Tayshia to save Chasen and Ed for more drama? Fans convinced it's 'scripted'

'That's the shenanigans I'm talking about. You can't say the show isn't scripted when you have Ed and Chasen argue, both get roses, they almost wrestle, and then Chasen wins? Really producers? Couldn't fake it?' a fan wrote

The latest season of 'The Bachelorette' is running high on drama. The latest, November 17 episode tested the mental and physical ability of Tayshia Adams' suitors after she said that she was looking for a "grown man." However, it also appeared as if she was attracted to more than one suitor based on these criteria – this has given rise to a few speculations.

If there was one factor that headlines the latest installment, it was Ed and Chasen's fight. While Chasen claims that he has begun to develop feelings for Tayshia, after struggling to get over Clare Crawley, his fellow suitor Ed used this as a chance to turn Tayshia against Chasen.

One thing led to another and issues between Chasen and Ed only kept escalating. when the time arrived for the suitors to fight one another to impress Tayshia, Chasen and Ed were paired against each other. One couldn't help but wonder why would these two men be placed in a fighting ring together knowing their feelings, which could inflict a lot of danger on either of them.

Even though Ed dropped out of the fight and didn't seem to have worked a connection with Tayshia, she goes ahead and gives him a rose, while Chasen had already received one. It wasn't too long before fans took to Twitter to comment on this, dragging the show's producers for the choice they made.

Many of the show's fans asked if Tayshia genuinely gave Ed a rose or if the producers asked her to do so to keep the drama between him and Chasen going for longer.  Meanwhile, some strongly feel that the animosity between Ed and Chasen is completely "scripted".

One of the viewers tweeted, "Me wondering why Tayshia kept both Ed and Chasen and then realizing the producers probably told her to keep them for the drama #TheBachelorette". Seconding the previous tweet, another viewer wrote, "That's the shenanigans I'm talking about. You can't say the show isn't scripted when you have Ed and Chasen argue, both get roses, they almost wrestle, and then Chasen wins? Really producers? Couldn't fake it?". Another user added, "The producers in Tayshia’s ear telling her if she keeps both Ed and Chasen that it could be good drama ratings, right before the rose ceremony.. #TheBachelorette".
