Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia were hoping to take the power back after being named the stars of 'The Bachelorette' Season 19. The two best friends thought that finding love amongst a lineup of 34 suitors would be a cakewalk, but once they entered the mansion, they quickly realized how messy and complicated it would get. Both Gabby and Rachel got a taste of it on the recently aired episode of the ABC dating show.

The ladies were faced with the uncomfortable and embarrassing situation of learning that the men they were interested in weren't interested in them during the rose ceremony. Sadly, for Rachel, the rose ceremony night was an awkward and humiliating experience when three of her suitors -- Termayne, Alec, and Meatball -- declined her rose in public, saying they were interested in Gabbey and not her. After each of the rejections, the show's host Jesse Palmer walked in and took away the rose from Rachel.

Rachel was understandably upset by the situation and broke down in Gabby's company. She began questioning if she made the right decision to join the dating show and if she even deserved to be here. Gabby consoled Rachel by pointing out how she too was rejected by the suitors, but sadly, Rachel pointed out that Gabby's rejections were in private, whereas hers were in public.

Despite the discomfort, Rachel walked back and handed over the remaining of her roses, alongside Gabby and concluded the rose ceremony. When fans realized that three of Rachel's roses were taken away because she was rejected by the men she picked, fans began pointing out how the rules were "unfair".

A fan tweeted, "Rachel losing three roses is complete and utter bulls**t. When did the girls lose their ability to make the rules?!? Again I ask: WHO MADE THESE RULES?!?!? #TheBachelorette."

"@BacheloretteABC will you explain why it was fair to take away Rachel’s roses after she was rejected? Not once, not twice, but three times.. these women were supposed to be taking their power back! #TheBachelorette," wrote a fan.

"They should bring in three new men who are only interested in Rachel to make it an even amounts of guys #TheBachelorette," suggested a fan.

Another fan shared, "Rachel getting rejected three times in a row oh this is awful. #TheBachelorette." "Rachel just lost three roses #bachelorette   #TheBachelorette," observed a fan. "Jesse has taken three of Rachel’s roses now. This rose-snatching system is deeply unfair. #TheBachelorette #BachelorNation," declared a fan.

Despite the roses being taken away, by the end of the ceremony, Gabby was left with nine suitors, and Rachel with eight suitors.

'The Bachelorette' Season 19 airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC.
