Who are Matt James's final 4 picks for hometown dates on 'The Bachelor'? Here's what to expect in next episode
Yet another season of ‘The Bachelor’ is nearing its end and fans are waiting with bated breath to see which one of the suitresses will get to Matt James. The latest February 15 episode saw Matt send home many fan-favorites, while Kit Keenan walked out of the show of her own accord. During the final rose ceremony, he chose to keep Michelle Young and send Pieper James home. Bri Springs, Serena P and Rachel Kirkconnell are the other three suitresses whose families will be meeting Matt in the next episode for Hometown Date.
Hometown date is considered one of the most important aspects of ‘The Bachelor’, as the suitresses’ families meet their potential future partner. The ladies on Season 25 have come a long way vying for Matt’s heart and now it’s time for the families to express their opinion about Matt. The February 15 episode concluded by teasing the preview of the next episode, which sees Bri, Serena, Rachel and Michelle introduce their families to Matt.

Rachel’s mom has never seen her in love
The preview for the next episode shows Rachel’s mother telling Matt, “I have never seen Rachel in love so I’m not quite sure what that looks like.” Matt is seen carrying a somber expression when he hears this about Rachel. She’s also asked if she thinks she really got to know somebody “in a matter of weeks”. However, it remains to be seen if Rachel’s parents accept Matt for who he is and also if they can see through Rachel’s feelings for Matt.
Michelle seems terrified
Michelle has always wanted to be with Matt, but when it is time for them to take the next step in their relationship, she seems to be terrified. During the Hometown Date, she tells her mother that she has been having “moments where it is terrifying". Her mother then asks Michelle if she thinks all of this “seems too fast" for her. But how will Matt respond to Michelle’s feelings? We need to wait and watch.
Bri is yet to reveal her feelings for Matt
Just in the last episode, Bri tells Matt that she recently quit her job to be on the show, essentially to find love. She was one of the first few suitresses to discuss love with Matt. But it seems like there’s something holding Bri back from expressing herself to Matt, as she’s seen saying during the Hometown Date, “I haven’t told him how I feel about him.” Responding to Bri her sister says, “you have to protect yourself.”
Isn't Serena P smitten with Matt?
Matt told Serena P in the last episode that he admired her for her honesty following their tantric yoga date, which didn’t go down well with the latter. Unlike other suitresses, she hesitated about getting physically involved with Matt, saying their relationship "hadn’t reached that stage". When asked if she’s smitten with Matt, she sobs without an answer.
Perhaps, there is a lot more awaiting us in the Hometown Dates and we’ll also get to see Matt’s relationship with the four suitresses progress as the families pay a visit.
‘The Bachelor’ airs on Mondays on ABC at 8 pm ET.
