Did Matt James dump Pieper James because she's 'aggressive'? 'The Bachelor' fans say she left in 'savage mode'
With home town date only a week away, the February 15 episode of ‘The Bachelor’ saw many fan favorites exit the show. While the youngest contestant Kit Keenan chose self-elimination, Matt James decided to send Pieper James home during the rose ceremony, despite a great one-on-one date. The episode began with Pieper and Matt’s date, which was interrupted by former ‘The Bachelor’ fame Heather Martin.
On seeing Heather, Pieper stormed into the house after Matt cut their date short and began to complain about the new girl making her feel “invisible”. She is seen sobbing and telling on camera that she doesn’t “deserve” to be sidelined by a stranger, especially after everything she shared with Matt. The viewers get to see a different side to Pieper as she fights for her time with Matt.

During their dinner date, Pieper opened up to Matt and confessed her feelings, “I don’t want to be afraid of how I feel anymore. Matt, I’m falling in love with you. And that is the scariest thing in the world to say because I have always seen that as giving up a part of myself. But, while it makes me super fearful, it also makes me super excited.”
Matt encouraged Pieper to “trust” her feelings and even promised he would do the same before handing her a rose. He said, “I wanna be that person, continuing to show you that this can work with us. I’m looking forward to spending more time with you.”
However, during the final rose ceremony, Matt decided to retain the rest of the suitresses, thus taking them to home town date while eliminating Pieper. After the final rose is given to Michelle, Pieper is seen walking past Matt, visibly angry, as she headed toward the limo to go home for good. She didn’t even stop to greet Matt one last time.
Even though Pieper’s elimination disappointed many, fans aren’t able to stop themselves from discussing her exit, which has gathered a lot of reactions on social media. A few complained about her throwing temper tantrums at people around her, but the others are raving about her “savage” attitude.
One tweeted, "There is something very aggressive about Pieper and I do not stan #TheBachelor " Another added, "Still don’t get pieper’s temper tantrum. you have a rose. f****g chill. #thebachelor " Another user with a different opinion shared, "Not y’all calling Pieper a mean girl for having a live, raw reaction to some random girl who’s not even in the house interrupting her date. It’s giving micro aggression #TheBachelor #Bachelor #bachelorabc #BachelorNation" One tweeted, "Pieper is a stone cold savage. Said nothing to him. Girl, that was the right call. She about to find head home and learn a lot of interesting information about her ex and his top pick. #TheBachelor " And another said, "SAVAGE MODE PIEPER #TheBachelor "
