Who is Kimberly Courneya? Meet 'The Bachelor' contestant whom Matt James may send home after first rose ceremony
The newest season of 'The Bachelor' is upon us and this year, as many as 32 single women are vying for Matt James' love and attention. Seattle-based Alaskan Airlines recruiter Kimberly Courneya is one of them. Her bio on ABC describes her as a "carefree" soul who is looking for an emotionally available man but under no circumstances will she accept one that has a foot fetish and arranges for a date at the cemetery.
In the premiere episode, as bachelor Matt James waited to greet the ladies, Kimberly jumped out of her car and made quite an entrance with a massive fish in her hand. While that will go down in the history as one of the most interesting entries of 'The Bachelor', will it be enough for Matt to keep her around? Only time will tell.
Who are the 8 women to be eliminated after first rose ceremony?
After the first rose ceremony, of the 32 women, Matt will send eight home and a Cinemablend copy reported that Kimberly could be one of them. Alana Milne, Alicia Holloway, Amber Andrews, Carolyn Vallejo, Corrine Jones, Emani Curl, Illeana Pennetto, Khayla Epps, Kristin Hopkins, Saneh Ste. Clare and Sydney Johnson are apparently those who run the risk of an early elimination.
Who gets the first rose?
Abigail Heringer is the first to attract Matt's attention and grab a rose, the publication reported.
Who is Matt James?
Matt is a 28-year-old New Yorker who used to be a college football player and works as a real estate broker. Even though he has never been in love, the bachelor is known for his relationship with Tyler Cameron, a suitor on Season 15 of the show. He is also the first Black star to be cast as a lead on 'The Bachelor'. The network wanted him to be a part of Tayshia Adams' 'The Bachelorette' but after production came to a halt owing to the pandemic, they took him out of the roster and put him in Season 25 of one of ABC's most popular shows.
'The Bachelor' was filmed keeping in mind Covid-19 protocols in Western Pennsylvania at the Nemacolin Resort.
