Madison Prewett handled herself well when Barbara Weber stood her ground on not wanting her son Peter Weber to marry Madison, and fans are applauding her.

None of us knew how 'The Bachelor' Season 24 would end, and that included Chris Harrison himself. However, all that suspense ended on Tuesday night when the series returned for part 2 of the two-night finale.

Peter's journey to find true love finally came to an end on Tuesday night. While he did get engaged to Hannah Ann in Australia, after they got back home, Hannah decided to call it quits when Peter revealed he is still struggling to get over Madison.

A couple of months later, Chris Harrison meets Madison in her hometown to break the news of Peter's engagement to Hannah and their break up. Madison then reveals she still has feelings for Peter as well and decides to meet him in LA.

The two meet a few weeks before the live finale that happened on Tuesday night and confessed their feelings for each other. Cut to the live finale event, Harrison calls Madison on to the stage where Peter is already seated.

After a conversation about Madison and Peter's journey, Chris asks Barb if her decision about Madison has changed, and what happened for her to not like Madison at all.

Barbara shares, "The show last night, it didn't show everything. The next day, we met Madison, and it started on a rocky road because she had us wait three hours to come in... she didn't want to meet us."

Adding to that she said, "When she did come in... we didn't get an apology from her, and when I proceeded to ask her if she was madly in love with my son, she said no and she would not accept a proposal in four days, as a mother, that wasn't what we were expecting."

"When I said I wanted Hannah Ann so badly, it was because... we just clicked right away. We did not have that connection with Madison," Barbara concluded.

Apart from her blasting Madison, Barbara also had her share of facial expressions each time Madison came on screen, and even when she was in the studio talking to Chris and Peter.

Through all this, when Chris asked Madison what she had to say about Barbara's decision, she said, "I mean, at the end of the day, it is what it is. can't change the past, and there's a lot that was out of my control."

Continuing, she said, "I'm not a mom, so I don't know what it's like to have a son, to have kids. I know that I have love and respect for Peter. Therefore I have love and respect for Peter's family and I will never say a negative word about anyone or anything."

She then tosses over the question to Peter for him to answer it. While Madison could have easily lashed out, or even criticized Barbara, fans noted that she was calm and composed when she reacted to Barbara's claims.

Taking to Twitter, fans applauded Madison's attitude and reaction towards Barabra saying, "I am SHOCKED at how disrespectful Peter's mom has been to Madison. Thank you Madison for taking the high road. I feel so bad for Madison #TheBachelor."

"So Madison handled that situation with way more class/maturity than someone more than double her age. Barb is just throwing a fit cause she didn’t get her way #TheBachelor," a fan wrote.

Another added, "Madison saying that she will never disrespect Peter’s family despite everything his family said about her says a lot about the kind of woman she is. It also says a lot about who Barb is. Not a good look Babs #TheBachelor."

"I'll be liking basically all the comments staning BOTH Hannah Ann and Madison this episode. Two badass women who stood up for themselves. #strongwomen #TheBachelor," a fan wrote.

Another added, "Madison is without a doubt the most pure, loyal & sweet individual to ever be on a Bachelor Franchise show. She stands strong for her faith & handles trials with grace & Barb should be thrilled that Madi’s willing to stand by her son even after all he’s put her thru #TheBachelor."
