'The Bachelor' Season 23 episode 7: Honest Heather Martin quits, says she isn't a good fit for Colton, fans say bravo
Heather Martin's revelation and subsequent quitting of the show came as a surprise to many because from the start, Martin had been smitten by Underwood
'The Bachelor' season 23 is coming to an end. From the 30 women who entered the mansion with hopes of winning Colton Underwood's heart, only 4 are left. Over the past few weeks, the drama on the show has increased making it one of the most dramatic seasons of the series, ever.
On Monday, when the show aired, Underwood was determined to find answers and he wasn't taking no for one either. He dug deep and found out from Tayshia Adams and Kripa Sudick, who they believe are not here to get married. And, the duo revealed that according to them, Caelynn Keyes and Cassie Randolph are the ones who aren't ready for marriage and are not genuine.
That aside, we also got to witness Underwood eliminate Hannah Brown after their one-on-one date to meet his parents. And, during the group date, fans and viewers saw Heather Martin reveal she didn't feel like a perfect fit for Underwood.
This revelation came as a surprise to many because from the start, Martin had been smitten by Underwood. She became extra smitten two weeks ago when she received her first kiss from Underwood. No one knows what triggered this move from Martin. Maybe she realized she had no chance with Underwood, compared to the other women who were left in the mansion.
Whatever may be the reason for Martin quitting the show, fans love her honesty. This one decision won Martin more fans than the remaining contestants on the show currently. "I have to admire Heather’s honesty though. She might have been one of the girls who wasn’t ready to [be] engaged...I mean she is only 23, but at least she came clean," wrote a fan.
While another added: "Bravo to her for being REAL!!!!! Yay! I love REAL! She is not a playa and we sure do have some of those in the mix. And we also have some very venomous women in the mix as well. Best wishes to Heather - Bravo to you girl!"
Martin's revelation to Underwood was straightforward and she didn't try to beat around the bush, unlike the other contestants who quit the show midway in the previous weeks. And that is another reason why Martin currently has a lot of fans. "Yay, I'm happy that Heather was so straight forward. She knew what she wanted, and what she wasn't ready for. Glad she was honest and didn't get caught up in the drama."

Now with Martin gone, there are four other girls remaining. Hopefully, next week, fans will get their wish of witnessing a much-awaited scene, Underwood jumping the fence. But as for Martin, fans aren't giving up hope just yet and wish to see her as the next bachelorette or in 'Bachelor in Paradise.'
